This Saturday, plan on going up to Channel Islands to celebrate pops birthday. After that come back and work on the back yard I've been working on for the past month. You know when you start something simple enough, but find out it's more than you can hadle in a single day? Yep, spirit crushing and is why the month.
Later on plan on trying out Poncho's Restraurant here in Manhattan Beach. We lost our other place to Swansen Dinner take over it seems. It wasn't bad, but I could have heated it up better.
Sunday morning go to the Holy Cross to thanks for...... and for the Angels winning. I really don't know if they are, but it sounds nice.
Later, go sand and paint some until 3:00 then get ready to go out to meet the family.
PS: Just found out I will be going back and forth at my job, so it may show on my posts here

Fog light
Taking a tool box I was no longer using and making it a Fog Light housing for the factory switch. I wont really be able to see it up under the Jeep and between the bumper and lower bar in the picture. It gives me something more to do in the garage and isn't costing anything, ther than what I already have. Sunday, February 15, 2009

Notice

I think I am going to have to get a better picture to show the Rock Slider on the Jeep. It looks like the same as factory from this shot (lol).
While I was snapping the picture at 4Wheel Parts I asked about the spring spacers to level out the Jeep. They did not have them at this store, but the price was a little overboard as well. Think I am going to make my own or look on line and do the ordering myself.
Not sure when I am going to be able to go out wheeling any time soon. Next weekend to many plans, with dinners :)

Got them...
Stopped off and snapped a picture of Santa Cruz Island in the background above the marine layer rolling in and the Jeep.
Last Friday, picked up the rock sliders from 4 Wheel Parts. Plan on putting them on over the week sometime after work.
Yesterday, attempted to put on some leveling spacers. It took a while to figure I purchased the wrong spring compresser. Once I wrapped and locked a 3/16 cable around the spring, I realized the spacer wasn't right. It wasn't a very productive day with the Jeep.
Got the wifes car washed and worked up a real good hunger, LOL.

First Oil Change

Well the Jeep already reached 3277 miles on it. Went and did the oil change this last weekend. It was one of the easier oil changes I have ever done.
Still waiting on the rock sliders from 4 Wheel Parts. They said they will be here tomorrow, but they have been saying that sense Christmas. Hope it happens.
Went to pick up a bumper for my hard top from the dealer that was missing, Saturday also. Might be going to Gorman to show the salesman how the Jeep 4 wheels next Saturday (hehehe). It will have to be early Saturday if I do, because he has to be back to work by 12:00 noon. The guy needs help understanding what he is selling and he did give me a break on the price (sure he did, lol). Truth is I just want to go to Gorman again ;),

Otay Mountain
Sorry have to do the picture through the home computer , now that I did the so called upgade on the iPhone (2.2 don't do it)
This is a picture looking out West over Otay Mountain Lake in San Diego and over the Pacific Ocean in the back ground. To get here I went south on Campo Rd. I stop at the Fire Dept. for an entrance to off my Jeep. Turned West on Marron Valley Rd., 5 miles south of Otay Lakes Rd. were I should I entered. Drove through a Granite Industrial Co. lot that has signs up for the employees only. Stopped by one of there trucks and was kind to give directions of were to go and turn towards Otay Mountain's ridge, north. Very beautiful land scape once you start beginning to reach the top of the ridges. It helps so much to have a GPS on the trip.
PS; I have a lot of pictures, but need to get home to put them up.
