No Big Bear

Decided not to go to Big Bear alone yesterday, but did make it to Beverly Hills. I think this was the corner of Wilshire Blvd and San Vicente Blvd, were there was a Coffee Bean at the intersection. If you visit be aware of the drivers, they run stop lights and it was an experience just getting a cup of coffee (lot of action).

Winch install

Got the Smitty Built RC8 winch yesterday and installed in a couple
hours today.

Planned on going to Big Bear tomorrow, but might have to go at a later
time.

Body Armor

Sunday I replaced the rear bumper (original equipment) with the Body Armor rear bumper and the tire carrier.

Tonight, I with friend help replaced the front bumper with the one shown above. Still have to put on the winch and lights, but tonight this was enough. It was tough enough to put on the front bumper and was pretty heavy in comparison to the original.

I have the side rock sliders on back order. After tonight I don't know when I will get to put them on (LOL). The rock sliders started this whole transition, because of the nerf bar can be used as a step to get into the Jeep.

Gorman

Went to see what Gorman was about today. It was pretty good a lot of
trails to explore. I only allow myself a couple hours. I got to see a
Land Rover (class of maybe 10) caravan go through there paces. I would
have followed them around, but tim was against me today.

I did see a trail (rattle snake) that my wife wouldn't get scared on.
I might even allow her to drive it!!!
